How can she be your 'fiancee?' In England, the age of consent for s_x is 16, you cannot get married before 16 regardless of whether you have parental consent or not. You have committed an offence and if found out, would be placed on the s_x offender's register (I'm pretty sure that this would also prevent you from working with children if ever you wished to do so._ Let the poor girl have a life - whatever she wants now at 14 is certainly not what she'll want 10 years down the line. And remember, what you are doing is most def illegal.

Well, I agree that with the age difference, there are some legal concerns. However, Danny, it seems as though you're prepared to take responsibility and support your baby and girlfriend. I just hope that after the birth you feel the same way. A baby needs 2 loving parents who will be fully active in it's life. I wish you all the best.

To all the people saying "Let her live her life," it's too late. She's already pregnant. They will both have to deal with it and raise the baby. Danny, don't listen to the people telling you to leave her alone. If she's already pregnant, you better NOT leave her alone. As far as the age difference, it seems to be a huge deal now, but later on it will be nothing. (I know it's nothing to you now, but soon enough it won't matter to other people either.) My boyfriend is 9 years older than me. (But we didn't get together until right before I turned 18.) I don't know why you guys couldn't have just waited till you got married, but I know what it's like to want a baby so it's understandable. Just give that baby a good life and don't stand in the way of whatever your fiance wants to do with her life.

danny, my husband and i also planned our family when i we were young..i was 14, he was 20. RAPE! was the first thing out of everyones mouth. not true. now im 27 and we have 4 healthy happy children! our age difference is nothing now. we got married as soon as i was old enough. i heard it all...it wont last.. your too young...you dont know what love is.... we are living proff that it CAN work. more power to you. never let anyone judge you! my best advise though is to finish school. i graduated with a BD in elementry ed, but i say at home with my children. i have to give my husband a lot of credit, he made me finish high school and college, when i would have prefered to stay home. keep supporting her to do the right thing. i believe that you cant educate your children when your not educated yourself. graduating from "almost good-enough high" IS NOT enough! make her get an education. keep in touch and let me know how things are going for the pair of you! congradulations!!!!

P.S. i gave birth at 15 to a 10lb. 10 oz. baby...naturally! i am only 5'2' and weigh 105 lbs, she can do it! keep on encouraging her!

TO: older but apparently NOT much wiser... i suggest that you keep your - thoughts to yourself. the world has too much already. my saughter is now 12, (im 27), and my advise is keep the lines of communication open between you and your kids should something like this ever come up, by putting him in jail, what would you accomplish doing, besides defusing you own anger, and making your grandchild fatherless. that would solve anything, the baby would still be there, without the support of 2 parents, regaurdless of the circ_mstances. and as for what their life could be like... A 14 year old girl can not give legal consent to have s_x. It is called RAPE!!!! Don't try to sugar coat it by saying she is mature for her age. Rape is Rape..We have laws for a reason!!!! you cant say that at 14 you werent able to make your own decisions... of course you were. i was just stating that the decision that i made was right for me. i knew at 14 that i wanted to be with him. i knew i wanted a family with him. i was also very aware of the possible outcome. i am also not saying that i wasnt extremaly lucky that things turned out the way they did for me, but as for Danny..whats done is done, this is a time when they both need a few encouraging words. their only human..children or not. try not to put people on pedastals...they might be afraid of heights. and NO! i am not worried about my husband, he is not a child rapist, that silly to even write that...shame on you! Physically, she will probably be able to deliver the baby v____ally no problem. Do you really think a 14 year old is ready for marriage, though? Try seeing how life with a baby is, first. It's not a good idea to be together just for the babies sake--she needs to worry about high school first.

I'm I the only that's creeped out that this guy was 17 and started dating a 12 year old!!! What's done is done, but anyone who is s_xually attracted to a 12 year old is creepy. It's really sad because she'll never get to experience the rest of her "childhood". This should be a warning to parents to lock up their little girls!
