Just wondering if anyone ever took a baby TT? My son will be almost 8 months old and we plan to dress him in a costume. I want candy!! There is something about candy from other homes that I like more than when I buy it. What do you all think? Can I get away with pushing his stroller and saying TT for him? I could lie and say he has a sick brother at home... Opinions please:)

Go with some friends of yours that have kids. When my daughter was 8 mo it too was TT time. I just went to peoples homes that we knew and robbed their TT candy. But if you go with some friends and dress up yourself then heck yah get the candy.

thats funny! who cares, take him! Nobody will shut the door in your face! I wouldn't anyways, babies are adorable in costumes! I think lying about a sick sibling at home is a good idea! you might look a little weird, trying to get candy for an 8 month old, or yourself! It would only be a little white lie anyways!......

I was thinking of taking him to the mall for the TT. It is a huge mall and there will be many people, so I will not feel as stupid. I went TT when I was 21 (drunk), so I don't know why I am shy about this... It's the effort that matters, I think. I am always amused when an older child/adult knocks on my door for candy. I think it is funny. TT should be for anyone and everyone, not only kids.

I took my daughter when she was four months old just to a few houses where we knew people....cos she looked so freaking cute!! I had her wear a pink fuzzie jammies with the feet, and put rabbit ears on her and a little tail...I even gave her a pink nose and little whiskers!! It was tooo cute.

My daughter will be 9 mo on Halloween and I do plan on taking her. I can't wait to buy her a costume. I really don't think anyone will say anything, last year when I was pregnant I went trick-or-treating with my friend who's baby was 9mo. She just carried her baby and said trick or treat for her and no one said anything, lots of people thought it was cute.

Amaya will be around 5 months and we are going to take her. We will probably just go to family houses but we are still buying a costume and everything. Yesterday we were shopping at the mall and found a Red Hot Chili Pepper. It was SOOOO friggin cute! I didnt get it because I figured if I found that one so soon I will se many many more I like better.

Ever since I was a fetus my mother has called me "Pumpkin" and since I had my daughter they have since started to call her "Semandi" (sp?) which is italian for pumpkin seed. We were at The Children's Place shopping the other day and they had pumpkin costumes!!! Had to have one. It's really padded so she'll be really warm (I'm in Canada and gets friggin cold here for Hallowe'en sometimes) and it came with a little hat that looks like the stem and little jack-o-lantern booties!!! I'm going to take her around the mall for sure. Don't really care about the candy, just wanna show off my little pumpkin!! lol
