when is it safe for your baby to sleep with bumper pads in their cribs? my 5 month old keeps hitting herself with the rails and her feet get stuck between the rails. i was wondering of its ok to put her bumper pads in. thanxs

my aunt owns a day care center, at the center bumper pads are illegal at any age becouse of suffocation risks, and the bumper pads i received as a gift (and returned to the store) said to remove them by 5 months of age my daughter also hits herself with the rail and gets her feet and arms between the rails but she has never gotten hurt from it
