Yes, it's normal; keep washing his face with warm water. Don't use any kind of soap or baby wash on his face until the acne clears up. I don't remember when my daughter's acne cleared up, but she's now 12 weeks and doesn't have any.

My son had terrible acne when he was about 3-4 wks. He had pimples on top of pimples. I washed his face twice a day with warm water and it went away. Are you b___stfeeding? I was told that the acne could be caused by the mothers hormones pa__sing through the baby. And sometimes when you are nursing the baby gets hormones in abudance.

Yes, its normal, my docotor says its the hormones from the womb that the body is getting rid of . My son had for 1 month. But I think washing his face aggrevated it, his face would become dry. I'd wash to help for it to calm down, but then more would come out. I'd moisturize. I tell you I went nuts worrying. See my comments under topic.- first bath

I have photos of Asjani when she had her baby acne and she had a lot of it. Hers went away at 2 months exactly. There was nothing I could do to make them go away...they just left on their own. Now she has a beautiful complexion.
