I think it depends a lot on what kinds of germs your baby is exposed to, and maybe on whether you're b___stfeeding or not. When my daughter was an infant, my husband was working at a kids' hospital, so my daughter caught colds frequently. When he switched jobs she quit getting sick.

My daughter hardly ever got sick the entire first year. Then I stopped b___stfeeding her and she started getting sick constantly. She's almost two now and seems to be taking a little longer break between illnesses, but still gets sick quite a bit. I would rather her get sick now then when she was a baby though, because her immune system is better.

also children that go to daycare tend to get sick more often.

L, I just think it's weird that your child has been perfectly healthy and you're questioning if something is wrong. Am I strange to think that that is weird?

my daughter didnt get sick until she was 18month old. NOTHING, so cold, no infections, no ear problems. LOL she got sick with a bad cold when she was 18mot old it quickly turned into a fever that caused a seizure. BUT we recently moved out of where we were cause we found out the biulding was full of mold. iam convinced that my daughter wouldnt have had that cold and that seizure. cause she got sick one month after the move-in. Fortunatly...she was 2 1/2yr when we noticed and now she hasnt been sick she is now pa__sed Three. Count your blessings!!! LOL and enjoy every minute that she dosent get sick.

you are very lucky! my baby is sick all the time! he is exclusively b___stfed and not in daycare, so i don't know what the deal is....
