I am very proud to announce that Asjani finally took some formula from a bottle! Yesterday she took 3 ounces of Good Start Supreme from a bottle and today she took 6 ounces!!!! The weaning process is on its way!

You seem excited, I am happy for you! I hope you don't mind me asking, but... Did you plan on weaning her at this age, or did you stumble across difficulties or lifestyle change that made you decide to wean? I am just curious, hope you don't mind me asking.

How will you be going about it? My baby will be 6 months old in a few days. Initially i intended to b/f for a month and then because i wan't sure if i should stop i decided to try til 3 then to 4months. At the 4th month mark, i thought maybe til 6 months. Now that he's going to be 6 months soon, i really want to stop but don't know how.

Jenn, no I don't mind you asking about weaning. I had planned to only nurse for 4 months, but I think I've enjoyed nursing more than she does and so I've been nursing now for almost 6 months! :) I am getting an evening job and someone else will need to be able to feed her (hubby in particular). So, I decided to start weaning now...I am going to very gradually reduce her feedings on the b___st.
