OK, from birth Amaya has been on Enfamil Lipil with iron, she got an ear infection and because of diarrhea was switched to Enfamil Lacto Free. Now that we are trying to switch her back to her Enfamil Lipil she is still having very runny diapers. I spoke with the doctor and she wants us to switch her to Enfamil ProSobee. My question is, why can she not just stay on the Lacto Free formula. I didnt actually talk to the doctor but the nurse. We are going in to make sure her ears are all cleared up but not until next week. If anyone has any info please shed some light!

Hi! poor girl still has diarrhea. That's too bad. Prosobee is soy protein formula right? Soy makes the baby's b.m.'s more solid. My son has been on soy for almost 4 months now,(not for the same reason, allergy issues) and his bowel movements were MUCH firmer. I have to dilute the formula with a little extra water to keep things running smoothly. The issues with soy are there, but my son is doing marvoulous on it. If doc said to try it..do. Often docs reccomend soy to help with runny bm's

Thanks desiree. I am going to try the new formula tomorrow. I did talk to the doctor about it and she said she feels that the Prosobee has more of a nutritional value for her age. What brand is your baby on? Is it Enfamil Similac or what? We have 2 cans of similac soy that were given to me but I dont want to switch between the two different brands and confuse her. (I dont actually know if they taste different, I havent opened the similac) Anyway thanks for the advice!

Hi!! We use isomil by similac. It actually tastes good (well you know what I mean!) my son loves it. I sure hope Amaya fells better soon. She is so cute. Keston is at jazzersizer.piczo.com
