My daughter got them like crazy when she was new. Breastfeeding her for a couple of minutes always worked.

I gave my little guy gripe water before I fed him, that usually helped. However, sometimes he would get them anyways, so I just gave him a bit more milk, and they would go away. My mom said that when we were babies, she would dissolve a peppermint in water, and give us some of that. Must be one of those quick fix remedies from the old days!

I am only b___stfeeding my baby, I haven't introduced a bottle or pacifier yet. I try to get her to feed when she has the hiccups, but I think she gets fusterated because sometimes she sucks when she hiccups and chokes on the milk :( It does work when I can get her to feed though. And it's not just when I feed her either. Sometimes just waking up from a nap she will get them or even just laying there. They don't really seem to bother her either, but they get so loud sometimes and her whole little bosy moves when she hiccups, it looks painful! What can I say; first time mom trying to spoil her baby :P
