Well, I took my baby to the dr. today for the rashes she's been having, because they've been spreading and he said that she has eczema. Her baby acne is gone...but she still has cradle cap and eczema now...Poor baby! He prescribed elidel for her...so I will see how this works...He said most infants with eczema outgrow it by 36 months of age...

Toya, I am so sorry about Asjani. I hope it doesnt get worse. I have heard the eczema can get bad (sorry not very rea__suring) Amaya's baby acne is gone too and I am praying that she doesnt get eczema. Her cradle cap is getting better, but still there. I have heard that shorter baths, and fewer times will help. Also, I noticed that you put desitin or balmex on her, you might want to ask the ped. before doing it. I am not sure how that might hurt it or make it worse. Good luck

Now that the dr. has diagnosed the eczema, I no longer use the balmex...I am just using the elidel that he prescribed. I told him that I was using balmex to relieve her raw, weeping areas...and he didn't say anything...so I guess that didn't affect it...but he did say that oatmeal baths were good. I went to the store and got Asjani some Aveeno Oatmeal Bath and some Eucerdin Moisturizing Creme! ($13.00!!!) These are supposed to help along with the elidel...The Dr. said that her condition should get much better after 3 days of using the elidel...so we'll see. I will keep you posted and let you know of Asjani's progress..poor baby. I am trying to comfort her as much as possible, since she is probably itching sometimes...I hate it for her. She's such a happy baby and when she cries it just melts my heart! I wish I could suffer the itching for her...She's too young to experience discomfort! She's my little buddy and my sweetheart.

Well, I tried the Aveeno Oatmeal Bath (AWESOME)... I also tried the expensive 13 dollar Eucerdin Moisturizing Creme (EVEN MORE AWESOME) I thought that I was a high maintenance woman...Asjani is a Diva...Her skin care products are way more expensive than mine! They are helping so much though. She was not fussy today at all...and her face looks radiant! Just from using the Eucerdin...it's not red tinted anymore! So, the only products I am using on her now are by Aveeno and Eucerdin...Johnson's is out of the window for this baby...
