He is 2 weeks 3 days and is already taking about 4 oz. every 3-4 hours. I feel like this is too much. He doesn't spit any up and is a very happy baby.

my little boy was the same way...now he's 6 weeks and eats 5 oz every three to four hours. I honestly don't think it's too much, as long as he's healthy and happy let him be.

My son ate a ton too. I swear they go through the biggest growth spurt at first and they are HUNGRY. I would be more concerned if my baby wasn't eating enough. Here's a little information I thought could help: An average infant fed iron fortified formula should drink about 2.5 ounces per pound
of weight. For example: a 10 pound baby should eat about 25 ounces of formula in 24 hours. Babies will have times when they are
growing and will eat more. The growth
spurts may occur at 2 to 4 weeks, 3
months, and 6 months and may last one to two days.

You guys are lucky. My son wouldn't take more than 3.5 oz, he would throw up if I give him more. He's 6 wk as well.

Now he is up to about 4.5 ounces every 2-3.5 hours. I feel like all I do is feed this little monster!
