I think you are a great mom from all your posts I have seen. I wouldn't change a thing, except maybe the Bil. You are being a good other, not being overprotective. Sounds like his family is a little crazy. My Sil watched my son for a few hours the other day. I was working, and my dh and mil went Christmas shopping. I knew she wouldn't let anything happen to him, but she knows nothing of what to do with a baby. I was so freaked out. It all turned out well, but as moms its our jobs to be "overprotective". If we don't do it, who will protect our kids?
