OT When Will The Swelling Go Away

My hands and feet are huge...I am ok though, I check with my doctor at weeklies. How long after I deliver will I be able to put my ring back on?

My swelling was completely gone in about 10 days.

Mine was gone by 3 weeks...and it was so major right after I got home from the hospital that I had huge pink streaks on my feet and legs.

Mine took a couple of weeks to disappear. Still have bloody stretchmarks though. I wonder when they will fade?

I've had stretchmarks since I was a teenager. They fade to a silvery streak, but they never really disappear.

I almost had to have my ring cut off cus of swelling and luckily I went into labor 10 days early. I'm 8 wks post-partum and still can't get my ring off but I haven't lubed it up and tried really hard either but in the winter it usually falls off! I didn't get stretch marks!!!! YEAH! And I gained 45 lbs! Still got 12 to lose too.

My swellings stayed for nearly a month after birth. I was also shocked and horrified to find streaks of stretch marks everywhere and they were not there before birth. At that time I was so happy to not find a single stretch mark. They said it will go away but I doubt it....

Kr~ I don't mean to scare you and hope you don't end up like me after birth. Don't know what under the surface stretch marks are but stretch marks did appear on me *sad* Don't know about others, but my dark line on the belly is still there and Zack is now 3 mo

Mine was gone in 3 days. I dropped about 20 pounds in waterweight alone. LOL - felt bad for the nurses; I had a catheter, with a 1 liter bag attached...they had to empty that bag every half hour cause of how quickly it refilled. Made me grateful I wasn't actually having to go pee!

i had swelling only in my feet and ankles, it went away in 2 weeks. The problem I had was my rings were actually to big. Now they are fine.

I wish my swelling was gone. I had a c-section 5 weeks ago and I still can't wear my rings :o( After I get the doc's ok next week I will try to get back in the gym.

My feet never swelled during my whole 2nd pregnancy! (The first, well, I'm too embarra__sed to say!) However, the day after my c-section, I looked like I had elephant legs! It was from all the I.V. fluids they gave me! My ankles felt like Jell-O, and I swear my balance was shot! Took about 4 days to clear up! They were hideous!
