my baby is two weeks old and she hates getting burped. she cries and cries. we have tried three different positions, rubbing her tummy, walking her while burping, and rubbing her back. she hates and she also has a tough time burping. what are we doing wrong?????!!!! HELP!!!!

Try a little bit of gripe water. This my sound dumb but ask her to talk(babble to you),I believe this hepls to bring the air up from her tummy. Hope you get the answer you need

why don't you try not burping her at all?

Babies don't always need to be burped. Also, sometimes burping them can aggrivate reflux which can cause discomfort. I would try to avoid burping her for a couple of feedings and see if she is okay without the burp.

If you feel uncomfortable NOT burping her, maybe try just laying her down and working with her legs. Dont pat her just move her legs up to her torso and then stretch them back out. It helps work gas out without forcing it out. They also think you are just playing.
