We will do turkey, ham, turnip greens, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, corn, dressing w/ gravy, HOMEADE ROLLS (YUMMMM!!!) sweet potato pie, pumpkin pie (dh will not eat swee potato pie) and probably pecan pie or chocolate. We have to go to inlaws, my moms family and then Friday we will go with my dad and brother and his family. I will be making sweet potatoes, and the deserst and rolls. We are having a turkey smoked and I will help everywhere else with the rest of the foods!

I don't have to cook this year. I'm so excited! I'm still making 3 dozen homemade rolls and a bunch of mashed potatoes, a chocolate-raspberry swirl cheesecake (with chambord, fresh rasberries on top and a chocolate lace pattern piped on top), pecan pralines and mexican wedding cookies, but my parents are cooking the turkey this year. I've done it every year since I got married, and the idea of being able to sleep in, and not getting up at 6am to stick my hands in the slightly frozen orifices of a giant turkey, is so nice...I'm probably cooking a turkey the day after, so my hubby can have turkey and sliced cheese sandwiches for the next month...

I'm not sure what all will be had. We're having Thanksgiving with my husband's NCO (supervisor-type person) and his family, along with several other families. I'm in charge of "desserts" since I'm the best baker, according to the other ladies who will be in attendance - so I'm baking pumpkin bread, chocolate chip cookies, cranberry-orange cookies, and pumpkin bars with cream cheese frosting.

I am not sure what's on the menu for our Thanksgiving. We are having it at my in-laws house. I do know there will probably be turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy and rolls. I am hoping my MIL makes her homemade Coconut Cream Pie that is so yummy, but I am not sure she will have time! That Death by Chocolate is SO GOOD. I have had it before and I definitely recommend it!
