There's a difference? I didn't even know that. Are US onces bigger or smaller than UK?

bigger...on the advent bottles they have different measure of oz. one for the uk and one for the us.But the differnce is very small but I always follow the us measurement.

It's cause us Americans like to be difficult and different! LOL

I did not know this! So all playtex nursery bottles are uk or us oz? I have noticed that the drop in liners dont match up with the oz on the bottle and my measuring cup does not match up with the oz on the bottles! SO my question is, for those of us who are formula feeding, do you still use 1 scoop for every 2 oz? or should you use a little more or a little less? It probably doesnt matter since there is not that big of a difference, but...

When my little guy was in the hospital, the bottles they have are 60ml made by Ross, which is the company that makes Similac. Since I use Similac, the little bottles make perfect measuring devices! So I dont pay any attention to the bottle measurements themselves.

Monica, you're not kidding. We had some guests from our Rome office here last week, we went to lunch and when the plates were brought to us our guests were shocked; they thought they were portions for 2 to 3 people.
