When Do Babies Start Crawling

My baby is about 5 1/2 months old and seems to be trying to crawl. He lifts his little bottom up while he's on his tummy but can't really move yet. This made me wonder when do they start crawling?

i dont know either i'm a first time mom but my 5 month old does that also, he already moves from clockwise and counterclockwise, i'm pretty sure she'll crawl soon.

My daughter started spinning around on her belly around 4 months, did the attemptng to push up thing at 4.5 months, and crawled around 5.5 month. Shes 7 months now and into EVERYTHING... climbing... ughhhh!

my daughter started crawling at 5 mo. Seems to me that your baby might soon start crawling too.

my daughter is 51/2 months and she lifts her bottom up too she can move clockwise and couter clockwise too she can also sit herself up in a boppy and roll any which way she pleases soulds like we will both have moble babies in no time at all :)
