Won T Sleep In Crib

My 6-week old daughter slept perfectly fine in her crib until I made the mistake of letting her sleep in my bed with my husband and me a couple of times. Now it's clear that she prefers it because she won't stay in her crib for longer than an hour or so without crying and wanting out. Any advice on how to get her sleeping in her crib again??

Just let her stay in her crib. If she cries it out she cries it out. Make sure she is changed fed burped and all of that and lay her back down in the crib. Rub her back and soothe her a little but she needs to rely on herself for soothing later on. She knows if she cries enough she gets to sleep in your room. She keep her in the crib!!!!!

When our son was getting too big for his ba__sinet we tried putting him in his crib. He absolutely hated it and we come to find that it was too "open". So I added balnkets under his sheet and kinda snuggled him in it. I also stood by for a few nights to rea__sure him that yes I was there. I don't recommend letting your baby cry especially at 6 weeks, its traumatizing and not good practice, there will lots of time for crying it out later. The good news is that eventually she will learn to like her crib again our son has and he is now three years old and loves his "new" toddler bed. Just don't let her come to bed with you after you "win" the "fight" as you'll just undo everything. Hope this helps :)

This might be a long shot but maybe she likes the softness of your bed? I put a foam mattress pad, one just like mine, under the crib sheets and he loves it. Its worth a try, you might have to cut a full size down like I did bc I don't think they make crib size.
