I had my two boys done by a jewish dr. He froze the p___s and proceded to circimise the baby. My baby cried at first cause of the freezing. He was given tylenol I think 1 hr before the appointment. I used 4 x 4 square guases and put some polysporin oitment - infection cream on. each piece of square this went on his p___s after every diaper change. I made sure each piece of square had enough cream on to cover the top part of the circ_mised p___s. We had no problems My son only had one extra dose of ttlenol after the procedure that day. It healed within a week. I had to bring my boy to the dr after two weeks of being born. I asked about the healing process and he said it had healed nicely. My boy did not have any problems with pain from his peeing in his diaper. If his p___s does get infected you will know when I doubt ask your dr. Good luck with whatever you decide.

im pregnant and don't know what the s_x is yet but up untill e few mins ago i was sure if i had a boy i would have him circ_mcised. but after seeing the pictures ~ shared i don't know what to do. i asked my mom and sister and they yelled at me and told me to get it done. but my boyfriend is not circ_mcised and it desn't bother him. i don't know what im going to do now tho....

Hi! The ring was very small and went on the end of his p___s! The whole procedure took maby 5 minutes when he came back to my room he wasn't even crying. I would ask your Dr if they do the ring there. So when are you due? Boys' are so much FUN. I want to say that ring fell off with in 2 weeks. It was hanging by a thread for a while I was just told not to take it off let it fall off on it's own. :O)

I let my dh decide since I do not have a p___s. I have never seen one not circ_mcized. We decided to have it done, so he would not differ from daddy. My dh did not want him made fun of in the locker room. The procedure took only minutes, it never seemed to bother the baby, I used vasoline on it til it healed and it healed with no problems.

i have 2 boys! and they are both circ_msized...after you bring them home you just put vasoline (sp) over the p___s so the diaper dosent stick..and my kids didnt act like it hurt when they p'd...also i know there is a lot of contraversy out there about circ_msizing but i would never not do it...even though its painful to me its better then some nasty infection later b/c they dont clean it right...you have to pull the skin back and clean under it and that hurts them too and if you are not taking care of them properly then the skin can lay there and the doctor has to pull it back and that is VERY painful too thats what happened to my cousins boy and that was awful too, so....its all about your choice..

Both of my son's are circ_msized. I didnt notice them in any pain afterwards. With my youngest (he is 3 months old, so I remember his better) his doctor took him away, when he was one day old and then she came back and he was asleep. I had to put vaseline on it when we came home, which the hospital provided for us. My husbands and son's are all circ_msized, as with about every baby I know that are my children's ages. It was mine and my husband's choice to have it done to our children, we didnt let anyone talk us in to anything. Everything has turned out fine for my oldest son (he is 3) and so far everything is doing fine with my youngest son. I do not think it hurt either of my boys to pee. They never seemed to be in pain or anything, so I really doubt it. But remember, this is just my opinion, they are my kids. You do what you feel is right for your kids. Congrats Barbara on having a boy....I love my boys so much, they are the best...I am happy to have 2 boys.

LOL....I just read my post, it says my Husbands and my son's.....well I only have one husband, so I meant my Husband and my son's are all circ_msized.
