Has anyone had long hair and then cut all off? did you love it regret having it cut off? I am planning on cutting my hair off...I am so sick of this hair its getting me depressed...I just think short hair looks more put together.

omg I had super long hair and went to boyshort in one hairdresser visit...I loved it at first, but got sick of it fast and it was SUCH a pain to grow back out...(I have curly hair...so I'm sure you can imagine) But now my hair is long again...I had it almost to my bum before I cut it again (besides trims) and at that length it made me mad cause I couldn't do anything with it..but now it's b___b length and I'm finding this perfect for me. =)

In the Summer of 2003 I cut my hair really short, I wanted to get the color out so I cut it off. I always wanted long hair but my hair barely grows and so I get tired of waiting for it to grow that I just sometimes cut it off to try a new hair do. Well its been over 2 years, thank G-d for pregnancy because during it my hair grew the most. Still it isn't as long as I want it to be its only half way down my back. I have wavy hair and im just going to grow it a tiny bit more. BUT I do regret cutting really short, I love my hair long because I can do anything with it.

I would be way afraid to go really short, but I would not look good either. Will you? If your the Halle Barry (sp?) type, I say go for it:)

up until 10th grade i had long hair, down to my waist and then i chopped it all off, wicked short. it was fun and i had it short for a long time then i got tired of it and decided to grow my hair out again. i forgot that my hair take FOREVER to grow out. i really don't have the hair type to have long hair (super super fne) but change is fun.

This is to shelly to begin with, why is it a mum thing cause monica is sick if her long hair.... Again these replies amaze me and i agree hmm's comment was shocking and could have been kept to herself, i will say it again, women.... Monica if u can get away with short hair, go for the change. I don't think it really suited me, it grows back so not to worry go for it.

I have super curly hair and its long to the middle of my back...I look like a wild woman. I might just put more layers in it and relax it.

I had really long hair for years before becoming preggo. When i was 6 months along I had 12 inches cut of and donated it to Locks Of Love =) Please don't let go of long hair without considering donating it, it is a great cause!

With you on the hair thing, monica. Mine is now down to my waist and I swear to god I could make a wig just from the hair I lose! Definitely need a trim, but won't be going too short. If you feel like it, though, go for it! It will probably feel nice and light.

My hair is really long and thick. I love it so much, but have no time to do anything with it. I am dying to get it cut, bt know if I do I will cry and regret it so much. So I am keeping it the way it is. It's a nightmare to do when I've washed it. If I was to dry it with hair dryer it would take about 4-5 hours. So I let it dry naturally, which takes about a day.
