my lil one is 5wks today. some diapers are a greenish color. He is a br___tfed baby and once in a while he will have a regular yellow seedy stool BUT it will have a small hint of bllod in it. It is very small though like the dots of 2 ii. Very small hard to see unless you look for it. Is this normal??????????

My baby is b___stfed and his poop sometimes greenish and yellowish, I think that's normal. About the blood, did you give yr baby iron vitamin? My baby had bloody stools, more like a mucus since I gave him the vit. After I stopped it the poop came normal. I don't think the blood it's normal, you better bring yr baby to the dr.

I noticed last night Emma has a dark green stool which she's never had. It's always bright mustard yellow. Glad to know it's normal. I read when they're first born that a little bit of blood is normal. Not sure when it's supposed to stop though. I'd call your doc and just ask.
