hi bbk have not been able to get on line my computer is having trouble. Glad to know that Anna likes the bumbo seat..... where were you able to find it? Thats it everything else caleb has I believe you already have. Swing, Vibrating chair, gym.... baby mozart dvd... he acutally watches this.

I am SO sorry to b___t in, but, what is the miracle blanket Monica? I have an almost 3 week old and am hoping for any kind of 'miracle'!

you are not b___ting in.... is a swaddle blanket that is suppose to stop colic, ease fussiness for any baby, help baby sleep deeper, help avoid sids concern, etc. it cost me $30 but worth it, my baby went from waking up every 2 hours at night to sleeping up to 7 hours. He averages 6 hours. He usually goes to sleep at 8 and then gets hungry and wakes up at 2 or 3 and back to sleep in his blanket until 6-7.

I want one of those blankets!!!

First off, ekay you're not b___ting in at all. Happy to make the cyper-acquaintance. Monica, I got the bumbo at buybuybaby.... she liked Caleb's and Caleb but I explained to her that he's younger than her. Baby mozart? That's right! I think I need to look in to that. Lissi can you not get a miracle blanket in the UK? Maybe online? I think I can master brain surgery before I master swaddling so those types of blankets are lifesavers!

I guess I already have a miracle blanket then! I have one called Swaddleme and it's made by Kiddopotamus. I've used it since she was born. She did amazingly well the first week and then the 2nd week she started waking up every 2 hours. Last night, however, she only woke up once to eat, so that was nice. The cool thing about the Swaddleme blankets is that they come in sizes. Bet your bottom dollar I bought the next size already. Well, now that I've officially 'b___ted in', let me introduce myself. I am ekay and I have an almost 3 week old daughter, Josephine. She is my 3rd. I have a 4 year old boy and a 22 month old girl. Talk about poor planning! How old is everyone else's kids?

monica - how is this miracle blanket different from any other blanket? could you not swaddle and ease fussiness with a regular blanket? i've never heard of it before....ekay, i've got three little munchkins as well - almost 5, almost 3, and 3 months. hard work!!!!

to many the miracle blanket can look very barbaric (sp) its not really a blanket. once they are wrapped up they look like mummies. I know sounds hard but it works. there arms get swaddled as well. I have two boys a four year old and my two month old. My two month old is my last baby.

Isn't 4 years old a grand age? My son used to be so placid, but as of late, he seems possessed by some other demonic child. He whines, talks back, pouts and has started exhibiting some severe episodes of ungratefullness. Is it just me, or can anyone else relate? He used to be so compliant and sweet.

oh ekay, i can so relate! my 4 year old is very sweet, in general, but lately he has been very naughty. he tells me to go away, is constantly saying "no" no matter what i say, and has become quite bossy. the worst part is that my 2 year old has started to copy him! not fun. i hope their little-est brother is nicer to me than they are!

You are all really fortnunate to have multiple children. Despite the hard work, they are the best! Monica, Anna was very tempermental again last night and woke up when we put her down on her ba__sinet. On Saturday she slept from 11 to 6:30, but last night was no fun!

My 4 year has been acting up a little too. But fortunatly still pretty obedient. BBK I had a rough night as well. Caleb wanted to go to bed last night as early as 7:45 then he woke up around 1:30 to eat and then he woke up every 1 1/2 hours to either eat or fuss around,.But like every morning he is in a good mood this morning

monica, Anna is in a great mood in the morning! Smiles, giggles even does little girl screams just for fun! Come dark though it's a different story. I'm reading the "no cry sleep solution" and one of it's main points is to put the baby to bed early,,,, like 7! We're trying, but no way so far.

BBK - my son has just started to sleep through the night (he's 3 months), and i have noticed that since he's done that, he's gone to bed much earlier. before, when he didn't sleep through the night, he'd go to bed around 9-10 pm, but now he's out by 7:30-8:00. i find it odd, but there might be some connection? i hope you can get Anna to sleep soon.....

CEM, since every single book I've read emphasises the early bedtime routine I think your son got it right. I think Anna doesn't want to go to sleep early in fear of missing out on something... but if she does start to go to bed early, I won't be able to see her much except on the weekends :-(

BBK and CEM do your babies wake up at all to eat in the middle of the night?
