Gift From Baby To Daddy

So, I was sitting here all proud of myself because I had just picked out the last of the Christmas gifts for my husband, when I realized that I didn't pick out a gift for our 3 month old daughter to give him. So, now I need ideas! What are your kids getting for their daddies for Christmas?

I came across , in a catalog, a pair of work gloves that say "Best dad, hands down" and was going to order those for my dh from Lucas. I'm not sure what else I'll have him give his daddy though yet!

My little girl got a "#1 Daddy" shirt for her daddy this year. She'll only be a little over a month old around Christmas.

To Rachael, I love that idea!!! My hubby is in construction and those gloves would be perfect! What catalog can I find them in?

I am going to get some paint (non-toxic of course) and put my boys' handprints on a white shirt for my husband. I think that will be cute because it's sentimental and original.

Hmm...I like the t-shirt ideas...maybe #1 Daddy with handprints, combining those two ideas?

I'm gettin John the same as he got me last year... and the year before, and the year before that. Nothing! I might write him a card. From the kids it will be aftershave or something like that.

Pictures!!! My husband loves them. I just take pictures with my digital and then have them made through walgreens. I then frame them.

I am going to get him a frame that records voices, and record her cooing so that he can have that at work. Of course I will put in a cute picture too.

My DH first father's day, I found travel coffee mugs (who doesn't drink coffee to work? also, he's a trucker!) at Starbucks. These aren't your run of the mill mugs, they are "personalized" by taking out the liner that would usually be the mug's design. You can insert your own pictures. What I did, was make it like a min-sc___pbook sheet. I scanned pics of our son, and added the word's Daddy's Lil' Buddy" along with the pics. DH loved it so much, he cried!!! Big burly trucker, cryin' over a mug! ;) check out your local starbucks for the mug!

for my hubby's first father's day I bought this plaster kit. I made impressions of my son's hands and feet and wrote "happy daddy's day" on it and the date. He loved it. I think it would make a really nice christmas present.

Hmm...honestly, my husband hates coffee! LOL - plus, I couldn't begin to tell you where the nearest Starbucks is...maybe Frankfurt? I do like the picture frame idea!

I am going to take 12 pictures of Ellie and have Walgreens made into a calendar for her dad.

Okay, so I just got back from the PX; I bought some iron-on transfer paper, a set of 3 white t-shirts for Dad, and a set of 3 white t-shirts for Renity...and I'm going to make Daddy and Renity matching t-shirts with pictures of them together. What do you guys think?
