my daughter was 6pds. 9oz. & 19 inches when she was born. She lost down to 6pd. 1oz. when we left the hospital. She's now 6 weeks old & weighs 10 pounds is that too much? How much did yours weigh?

My son was also the same weight at birth. 6lbs. 9oz. and 19 3/4in. At his 4 week check up he weighed 8lb. 15oz. At his 8 week check up he was 10lb. 12oz. His prediatrician said he was in the 25%, right were he needed to be. Your little one sounds like she is right were she needs to be also. Have fun with her. They grow so quick!!

My son was 7 lbs 13oz when he was born, 7 lbs 10oz when we left the hospital, and 8.5 oz at his 2 week check up and is almost 6 weeks (3 more days) old. I don't know exactly how much he weighs now but it is somewhere in that ballpark.
