Hi guys :) hope you're all doing good with your babies :) Matthew started eating solids about two weeks ago now - it is going very well. I just wonder how much I should give him per feeding ? He still has milk (20 to 24 oz per day doc said) Thanks

Most doctors don't say to start solids until 6 months. So don't worry about giving very much this early. Just little at a time is good. Make sure he still gets enough formula.

he should not have milk until at least 10 months...babies do not produce the enzyme to break down cows milk until 10 months, and it can make their intestines bleed....at that age it is okay to experiment with different foods but the formula is his month important means of nutrients...

To amy, I'm sure Fabienne meant formula. Per feeding you should give Matthew 2-3 tablespoons of cereal and add boiled water or formula until smooth.

You don't introduce cows milk until 12 months old amy.
