I know how to cook spaghetti squash! Surely it could be the same...? All I do is cut the squash in half, lay it with the cut side up on a cookie sheet or roaster pan. Bake it in the oven at like 300 degrees celsius. You'll know when its done when you can take a fork and sc___pe the flesh out. It will come out very easily and stringy, like spahetti, and be very soft. Then you can pure it (when its cool), and freeze it! I've never tried to cook it on the stove top. I've never froze squash, before cooking either. But I think it would be hard to thaw. And it might turn brown/black like a frozen banana would. Maybe cook it, then freeze it. Takes less time too! Let me know how it goes if you try my method.

You can cook straightneck squash (the ones that look like yellow zucchini) in the microwave. Cut it up and put it in a bowl with a little water, then cover it with plastic wrap. Cook on high until it's soft. Acorn squash should be baked. If your squash is bitter, you can cook an apple with it. Don't add any salt or spices to your baby food. If you're going to store it for a long time, make sure your freezer is cold enough, and check your baby food book for how long different foods can be stored frozen.
