I'm exclusively br___tfeeding my baby, on Benedict's 1 mth check up, the dr recommended me to give him poly vi sol vitamin with iron supplement since he doesn't get enough sunshine. The problem is I think the iron made him constipated and he got bloody stools since then. After I stopped it the stools went back to normal. Any of your dr recommended the same thing?

No. My doctor said babies are born with enough iron stores to last them atleast 4months if not 6months, at which time you would be feeding them iron fortified baby cereal. Breastfed babies need vitamin D as b___stmilk does not supply enough (which is what the sun helps your body produce). If your doctor is concerned about your baby's iron levels, have him do a blood test before you agree to put him back on it.

PS, you can buy vitamin D without any other vitamins in it.
