Grrr...I just need to vent for a minute. My mother has never evn seen me with my child, she does not know my child or how I am as a parent and yet she feels as though she has the right to criticize how I parent! I co-sleep, but according to my mother, my daughter should be in a crib in another room; I just gave her less than half a milligram of Tylenol cause she's teething and I want her to sleep sometime in the near future, but I should have given her frozen pear juice...like I have that laying around...grrr

sounds like to me that she doesn't have a lot to do with your life, so will you feel badly if you tell her to b___t out?

hi im a mom of 5 and one on the way. Dont listen to her. your the mom now and what works for you is what you should do. Trust me there are times when tylonol does more than frozen juice. I hope all works out for you. Just tell your mom to hush until asked. I did and now she doesnt say anything unless i ask, which is not often!!! Good luck keep us posted

Seems to me like you know how to parent and you have read alot and learned from this site, maybe don't give you Mom info about what you do and don't do with you parenting skills,so she won't critize you as much. Hope this helps

She paid me a compliment yesterday...said that she was proud of me, and that I was a wonderful mommy. 8^)
