Nighttime Habit In Reverse

I know that my baby has the ability to sleep through the night. She has started to do so around 2 months many times. Lately (the last few weeks), she went back to waking up once a night at around 1 - 2 am. But last night, she woke up to eat every 2.5-3 hours! What is going on? This started when the grandparents came to visit. They are here for 1 month, and they play with her and carry her all the time. They will not let her play by herself, sleep by herself, or cry at all. They do not listen to my requests... Could this be why my baby is going back in time to be a "newborn" at night? I don't know what to do...

She could be having a growth spurt, or teething. Sometimes teething pain will wake them up and then a feeding is the comfort they need to go back to sleep. Maybe the grandparents could get up for the night feedings, if you're bottlefeeding.

I agree with Jbear.
