Barium will stay in the system for a few days, I think. You should be able to see it in the stools. It is whitish/grayish in color. Instead of pedialyte, I use Smart Water. Its twice the size as pedialyte, has no added sugars/ colorings, and is half the price. It is unflavored but you can mix it with pear juice to give it some flavor. You could always call the nurse at the docs office to find out for sure. They should have someone on call all weekend. Still, I think you are safe to feed this to him all weekend if you would like.
