We have one of the womb bears, It freaked Amaya out. The only thing I can think of, we were in the hospital for 3 days (she didnt hear it then) we got home and she heard it. She likes it when she is awake, but she doesnt like it when she is trying to sleep. We have to turn it down very low for her to enjoy it. They sell these things that you can put on the crib to make it vibrate. Try getting one of those, or try swaddling him or placing him on a sleep positioner. One other thing, we had to lay amaya in her crib sideways close to one end (like where her head and feet were almost touching sides of the crib) and place a rolled up blanket on the other side of her, I guess it was just too much room for her. Now she is almost 4 months and she hates for anything to be in with her!

I got a womb bear as a shower gift and it freaked me out!! My son sleeps a lot of times in his car seat because he is snuggled in it and feels secure.

to Kathryn my son loves his car seat also and last night after his 2 am feeding I left him there and he slept for four hours straight.

my twins love the mommy bear, they have slept through the night since we got it for them. also they love the sound of a fish tank or a fountain.

I dont know of any stores you can get the crib vibrator, but I know ebay has them. Also try putting some music on during the night.

yes i used this bear for my daughter when she was a baby and it was the best thing!!!! i am pregnant again and i am dying to find another like it.. I have had no luck!!!!

I would think you can order it on line from BRU...also I think I saw one at target.
