My son is 9 months old and still has only one tooth. They say boys take longer than girls to get teeth out. By this age did your child have more teeth out?

My baby has 8 teeth, the little girl down the street is a few days older than he is and has a mouthful. What really freaked me out is that the two incisors started coming in before the two in the front. He looked like a vampire for about a week before the others popped out. So it could be worse...(but I thought it was kind of cute just wished it was closer to Halloween when it happened)

Count it as a blessing. Kids that are slow dentally have fewer cavaties in their adult teeth. They keep their baby teeth longer giving them more time to learn to care for them before the adult teeth come in.
