Went to the dr's and he said I was about 2.5 cm dilated and 80% effaced and the babies head is down in the pelvis. Said I was ready, now it is just a waiting game. I was at 50% last week and 60% a few days before my dr's appointment. It is just weird and I am really confused on if I am in labor or just in the "ready'" stage. I have diarreha at least once a day, I pee like crazy, I have cramps and contractions (not very close together) especially when I am walking. I was sent home from the hosptial the beginning of this week for false labor because I had a lot of bloody show after I went to the bathroom and thought something was wrong. They said I had contractions but regular. I am 38 weeks pregnant on Monday. Please help.....does anyone think I will go to my due date to the end of the month or is it any day. Everyone says something different in my family. Uggh.....I think I am just ready for this to be over.

unfortunately this is what your body does to get ready. Doesn't mean labor is in a couple hours doesn't mean its in a couple weeks. I had all these aches and pains for several weeks now. At least you are progressing for when you finally do hit active labor! good luck.
