I'm 38wks tomorrow with my first and am sick and tired of being pregnant! My back has been really sore lately, I'm wondering where back labor hits you at? Upper? Lower? This has all been upper. Right under my bra line too, is VERY sore, I'm tired, somewhat crampy, and bh contr. off and on. (I think they're bh..they never get very hard, or last long...wah!) I'm 2cm and 50%...help! Am I close? PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

is in your lower back. It is caused by bebe facing your back and pressing on your tail bone. Don't know if you are close but you are not having back labor!

mine is in the middle to lower back the nurse said its cause the baby is looking towards my abdomen. i was 3cm and 80 effaced when i went in for my back labor but i wasnt progressing so they sent me home, 5days later i'm 4cm and 90% and still am feeling them in my back, it'll make it a lil hard to figure out when its real labor

Yep, back labor is all in your lower back and it hurts like hell!!! I had 28 long hours of painful back labor, i hardly felt the contractions in my belly, all i could feel was my back. It felt like my back was breaking!! My little girl was turned the wrong way, or as the doc put it ............... " sunny side up"!! It sounds like you just have a sore back from all the extra weight you're carruin up front. Don't worry you'll be fine, hang in there, it won't be long now :)
