Does anyone know how long you must wait before you are allowed to drive, after a va___al birth?

I was never told not to drive. Besides, I had to go to the grocery store and pick up my older daughter from a birthday party within 48 hours. Some people say to wait, though. I think it has something to do with how much and whether or not you were medicated.
