Increased Discharge Vs Plug Water Break

I am 36 wks preg w/4th child. Yesterday I noticed that when I move or do something with pressure involved that discharge? comes out of my va___a. Its has not been a significant amount all at one time; however, I'm concerned that my water bag may have torn. I have had this happen in the past, but overlooked it. Every other child, my water was broken at the hospital by physician. Today, I tried looking with a mirror and saw some whitish discharge w/o a smell, not sticky or yeast-like. I live 30 miles from the hospital and really don't want to go if I don't have to. Please HELP!

I had the same problem. They say alittle discharge w/o smell is normal. You can research it online too to give you peace of mine. I started to leak fliud instead of it actually busting out. When you leak fluid it feels like you peed yon yourself without knowing you did. It kind-a trickles down your leg or you notice that you are wet alittle and then alittle more and everytime you go to wipe to dry yourself, your okay until a minute or two later when your wet again. Whe I leaked it was clearish...a white pasty discharge is okay without a smell to it. My doc said your body is perparing you lower parts for labor and the hormaone change causes the white stuff.

thanks wellis...I'll keep on the lookout! I've been using the primrose evening oil orally x 2 wks. I was considering using it v____ally as well now since I am 36wks. My girlfriend says she recently began taking the EP v____ally and an antibiotic and now has what she believes to be a yeast infection. Does anyone have any suggestions/experiences.

I had the same thing happen to me I was 38 weeks pregnant and had just a little discahrge w/o any smell. So I just over looked it. Then my husband started making me think that my water could have broke, so I called the doctor and he said most likely it was nothing but to go to the hospital to get checked out. I did and come to find out my water had broken. I ended up having to get antibiotics b/c I waited over 24 hrs. So there is a chance that you water could have broke. So get it checked out.

I went to the docs yesterday and told him about it...he just checked my cervix and said "nope...your bag of waters is still intact." I'm still taking the EP by mouth....still notice a little something every now and then--nothing constant.

so question... how do you tell the difference from your usual discharge that just happens to sudddenly be a bit more... from this leaking possibility? And if you were to overlook leaking, what could some of the problems be?
