Is It Possible To Have An Epidural

I had a lamenectomy back in 96. I was unable to have an epidural with my first two children because they said my surgery scar would not allow it. Are there any other options for pain relief or maybe having an epidural with this birth???

I had an epidural and IV meds too. While the IV meds didn't take the pain awhile it just made me tired so I slept through most of my contractions! My doctor also offered me a shot that goes in your b___t, it is suppose to numb you from the waist down but I didnt get it....just ask your doctor...Good Luck
