I get a short contraction in my lower back & then baby rolls around & kicks/moves. Is that normal?
I am 37W2D, loosing lots of mucus plug, 4 cm dialated, 50%effaced, had my membranes stripped on Monday.
Every time I go to the bathroom & wipe I get huge chunks of bloody discharge/mucus plug. Had one clot yesterday. I have been going to the bathroom at least once an hour it seems, & every time the chunk of mucus is about the size of a 50 cent piece or lots larger. It is a cloudy-yellow color. Is this normal? How much discharge is to much?

I'm not sure how much is too much, but I'm going through similar things too. Although I'm only 35 weeks, I am 3.5 cm dilated 50% effaced, I've been losing tons of mucus since 28 weeks. No bloddy show, but thick chucks of snotty c___p(sorry if TMI!) I have been seeing doc every week and every week he checks my cervix and checks the discharge under the scope and it's all mucus plug. Mine has no blood in it and is whitish-yellow also. I think that your body continues to produce it, so that's why it never stops. I'm not sure what to tell you about the clot, but the mucus is okay.
