Vagina After Childbirth

What's the truth? Does it go back to normal? Does it feel looser? Does it look different on the outside? I mean in the long-term, not right after birth. Thanks!

My son is 2 1/2 years old & I had a regular v____al birth ... pushed for about 6 hours & they needed to use the vac_m to get him out. I did not tear, & I can honestly say after 8 weeks I went 100% back to normal & have been ever since. No changes down there at all, I just hope it's the same the 2nd time around.

I have had 2 kids dd is 3yrs (born 7lb 9oz) and ds is 9mths (born 9lb 3oz). If you do all the pelvic floor exercises it will go back to normal. I was one of the lucky ones who didn't tear so I couldn't tell you if it feels different if you have any scarring. I did alot of pf exercises after the birth and my hubby who is sometimes too honest for his own good says it feels just as tight as before. As for the look on the outside it seems to look the same from what I can remember.

Thanks for the frank responses to such a personal question. Anyone else?
