I am almost 39 weeks pregnant, At my last OB Appointment I was 1-2 cm dialated and 50% effaced. I went to the bathroom and when I wiped my discharge was yellowish/clearish gel looking like, is this normal? Could I be dialating more?

The discharge you had was probably your mucus plug and yes this is a sign that you will begin to dilate more.

everyone is different. i am 40 weeks and ive been losing my mucus plug off and on for 3 weeks.
