I am due for a c-section Dec 22nd... today at my NST they saw I was having contractions, had 4 in an hour and have had them the rest of the day... however my Dr said I am still not dilated and the only choice I had was to A) Get med to stop contractions or B) let them go and see if they turn into something that will dilate me... I picked B. He said it was possible this would turn into labor and dilate me, or it could just last until I get my c-section. My question is, has anyone else had this happen? Last couple days it felt like the baby was just gonna drop outta me when I would walk... I';ve had loose bowels (TMI sorry) and of course now my contractions. I am also kinda sick to my stomach now, have been all day today..... and really just run down. Yesterday I had all sorts of energy, cleaning and such. Anyone have a good turn out from something like this? I know my cervix is soft, just wish it would dilate... With my 1st daughter, I didnt go into labor naturally... so this is all new to me. Thanks everyone in advance!

I am not exactly in the same position - but I know what you feel like. I went in to get checked at 34 1/2 weeks because I thought I was leaking fluid. I actually was having contractions every 5 minutes, just not very strong. I was dialated to 1 and 70% effaced. Now, 4 weeks later, I am only 2 cm dialated & 80% effaced, but I have been having loose bowels for the past 5 weeks and I have gotten that energy to clean a few times. I have tons of pressure down low, and feel like I have to hold my stomach up sometimes. They keep telling me I could go into labor anytime or I could go until my due date (Dec. 17). I know how you feel though.... It's just a waiting game.
