What If I Can T Feel The Contractions

I'm on my 3rd pregnacy and still not sure how contractions feel! My first two,iv'e never felt them. now im dialated to 3 and my doc did the whole membrane thing on thursday.but still no contractions! Im 38 wks how will i know if im going into labor if i cant feel the contractions?

You will know!!!!! If not at first it will become apparent as labor progresses.
