A little over a week ago I started to have heavy bleeding and I went to the er. While there I found out I was pregnant. I thought I was having a miscarriage because of all the bleeding. They took blood to run some tests. Over the next few days my hcg levels were going down very slowly, they dropped to 2800. They told me its more than likely I was having a miscarriage, but just a few days ago I went in to have another blood test and my hcg levels went up to 5000 something which its the highest its ever been. I did and u/s and they can see the sac but nothings inside. I have another u/s tomorrow. Is this normal? or am I having a miscarriage?

it sounds like you are having a blighted ovum where the sac is there but no fetus or heartbeat i have been throught it also you will misscarry if it is a blighted ovum the fetus was to weak to develop hope it will be fine hun x
