6 Weeks Pregnant But Nothing Seen On Ultrasound

I am just 6 weeks pregnant. I started spotting 2 days ago so went in for an internal ultrasound. The dr was unable to find an embryo. I took a pregnancy test after the appointment and it's still positive. Can 6 weeks be too soon to see anything? I also started feeling some mild pressure on my right side just above my pelvic bone. Any suggestions?

I would have them check for a tubal. I had slight pains in my left side for a week and thought it was normal. It got so bad one afternoon and the pain put me to the floor. I ended up being very close to a burst tube, I had emergency surgery and they had to remove the whole tube it was so infected. Since you have spotting too I would definately have them surch around.

How far along were you? Where was the pain in your left side before it became severe? I went to the emergency room yesterday because the pain started to increase, but they couldn't find anything. They said my HCG levels were too low to identify any abnormalities on an ultrasound. Now it's just a waiting game for me. Were your HCG levels measured before your surgery?
