As I've read so many of these posts, I see I am not alone.... and hopefully someone or ones can help me as well..... I'm approx six weeks along, bled this past Monday--- went to the Dr. next day, blood taken- results showed my HCG levels@ 14,000 THEN the following day- I bled again .... w/ a bit of very minimal cramping..... next day-had a u/s they saw sac, yolk sac and some fluid....had another blood test, HCG went to 21,000....Docs concerned.. says it should've doubled, I have another u/s on Tues--- that will determine what's what... still feel pregnant.. I am SO confused....My doctor doesn't sound optimistic at all...(I'm 38)... first pregnancy....

This i my first pregnancy too at age 36. It is scary and I notice my Drs were not making any promises either. There is so much uncertainty at this time of pregnancy, I guess they can't make any empty promises. Your HCG levels are rising and that is a good sign. My husband and I went through 6 days of waiting. I think that is the hardest thing, not knowing. Good luck this week and let me know how it turns out. I am sure it will be fine.
