Blood Clots While Pregnant

My friend did IVF and found out she was pregnant with twins at 6 wks. A wk later, she had bleeding and cramping. She went in and they found a blood clot in an ultra sound. She went back in a week later and the clot had grown.. luckily the babies r ok.. for now. Has anyone had this? Please pray for her and her babies. Thank you for any replies.
