I have had two previous miscarriages I am now pregnant for the third time I should be somewhere between 6 to 7 weeks. I have had my hcg levels monitored for the last two weeks the first was on the fourth it read 187 the second was on the 6th it read 571 then on the 12th it was at 9423 on fri. the 15th my level read 11601. I had an ultrasound on Fri as well they said they could see the gestational sac but no baby which would be expected for a pregnancy that was about 5 and a half weeks. I had another quant hcg done today it's still pending results. I feel as though I am going crazy with all this waiting. Can you tell me what might be going on and if the outlook is not so good like I expect.

Your HcG levels are right where they are supposed to be and the baby will be visible soon. I was in the same boat you are in and suffered 2 misses and finally am having a succesful pregnancy. All will be fine:) The waiting is so hard, I know but please relax and believe in your heart that this is the baby that you have been waiting for. Good luck darling!!

I am going through the same thing. When I had my u/s the sac measured only 6 weeks but the dr seems to think I am 8 weeks. I have another u/s on Fri 10/22 and they are hoping to see something. Just hang in there I am told that if you are going to have a miscarriage that you body will take care of it. The waiting is the killer but you know your body.Watch you hcg levels because they will drop when a miscarriage is near. Keep the faith.

I am going through this same waiting game. I took a pregnancy test at home and it came up positive. At the hospital, my urine came up neg. and my blood test results came up positive. my HCG level was at 17000, which means I would be three weeks, right? However, I am bleeding. I am so worried. Can anyone tell me what is possibly going on?

17,000 is pretty high for an impending miscarriage so I am not sure what the bleeding is from. Some women get their periods while pregnant. When I had a miss, my HcG was 45. I would not worry too much. Call your doctor and let them know you are bleeding. They may want to do an ultrasound to look at the viability. The number of weeks that you are pregnant is calculated from the 1st day of your period (gestational), not from conception. Best wishes:)

I recently got a Hcg of 76. 48 hours later it was 96. Has anyone ever had this slow of an increase and have a successful pregnancy?

The same thing happened to me with this pregnancy! I went in at 5.5 weeks and there was nothing but an empty sac. I went in a week later at 6.5 weeks and there was a baby, and a healthy little beating heart! Your Hcg numbers are great! Dont go crazy, cause i bet you anything its all ok :0)
