I am sufferring from hyperthyroidism. I take 150 mcg of synthroid everyday. I was initiall hypothyroid but, now its become hyper. What are consequences of me being hyperthyroid during my pregnancy. Iam 8 weeks pregnant

A DX of Hypothyroid can cause develpmental delays in the baby. However if it is carefylly monitored with your OB-GYN it can be controlled and have no negative effect....so says my OB-GYN I was DX with Hypothyroid 1 year ago.
