Whit my 2nd preg I was told I had a low lie, and it was barely there, we'll check at 28 weeks.....my doc said nothing of lifting or intercourse.....now I'm there again with my 3rd pregnancy and with a different doc...the ultrasound techs words were almost exactly the same as the last time that it is barely down there by the opening....but now this doc freaked out and said to limit everything. Sounds like the same situation to me....and I could see the placenta int eh ultrasounds both times, and they look the same. Did my last doc forget to tell me about the precausions, or is it just one docs opinion to the next??

I also have a low lie and my doc advised me no lifting, intercourse, and to just take it easy...PERIOD!!!
They also have scheduled my ultra sound for 28 wks to check. I think they are just being safe because it could turn into placenta previa which is a much more serious condition.. I guess better safe than sorry.
