I had two D&C's in December due to a blighted ovum...one was on the 3rd and the second was on the 17th, I decided to go back on the pill so we could plan our next pregnancy accordingly...the problem is I keep forgeting to take the darn things! What are my chances of getting pregnant so quickly after the procedure even if I am "kinda" on birth control? I also have no idea when to expect my next period? Thanks so much for any replies.

My husband and I had to be on Clomid in order to get pregnant the 1st time. We lost that baby at 12 weeks. I had a D&C. They told us to be careful that month following the procedure but thought nothing of it because we needed medication to get pregnant the first time. Well, I got pregnant right away. I didn't have a period after the D&C and found out that I was pregnant. I was later told that it is much easier to get pregnant after a D&C. I guess we were proof of that. Good luck!!

Sara-how long did you bleed after the d&c? Its been 10 days for me. I just want to start trying again! It is hopeful to hear that you got pregnant so quickly again.
