I am in week five of my pregnancy and was told my levels are all great except my progestone which is only 13. I have had two previous miscarriages....They put me on prometrium 200 mg twice a day. Has anyone had luck with that?

Amy - I was on 50 mg. twice a day for low levels also and I had a miscarriage last yr. I just reached 13 weeks. Warning, I had a lot of spotting which made me very concerned but all is well thus far. Good Luck!

Thanks! Things don't look too good right now. My Hcg level is only 1500 should be 4 times that. I am having a little spotting too; so Mari thanks for the advice....that makes me a little less nervous..

I am also scared to death over this progesterone. I was told this week that mine was at 8.5 and I'm 5 1/2 weeks. I also had an ultrasound and there was a yolk sac, but a baby could not be detected. The doctor said that it probably was just too early, but I left in tears. I'm suppose to go back in a week. I wanted to see something reasuring so badly. I didn't worry about any of this with my first pg. It's funny, seems like maybe it's better not to know anything then you don't worry. I've read so much on progesterone, some things say that I will probably be fine and others say there's no hope. I'm so confused and scared to death. I think it does help to talk about it though with people who are going through it. So, if anyone feels like talking I'd be glad to. Good luck to everyone.
